High 

Voltage Shock from Inverter 

Dear All, 
Herewith  sharing  one  most  dangerous  incident  happened  with  me  just  3days  back  which  i  cannot  forget  till  my  whole 
life....Because it’s new birth for me as only GOD do survived me on that day...  
Request  you  all  to  please  take  lot  of  CARE  during  working  on  Home  Inverter  accessories  to  avoid  hazardous  incidents...  i  am 
sharing one of them here.. 
 

On last Sunday evening in betn 5:30pm‐6:00pm, my baby was slipping in the nearest room to Kitchen..My mother wanted to start 
Mixer to prepare food.. I suggested my Mother to shift mixer in another room to operate, so that  baby cannot wake up due to it’s 
noise...& took that Mixer in another room to operate...  
 

I had chosen one socket to plug that Mixer... I chosen the socket box which was already installed specifically for Home Inverter 
(Microtek  make)  charging  point  (image  attached)  in  that  room...  I  removed  the  charging  cable  of  Inverter  very  carefully  by 
switching off the button of Socket box first...  
Once  i  removed  inverter  cable  from  socket  box  &  tried  to  place  it  on  nearest  table  which  is  just  right  hand  side  of  Inverter 
machine, unfortunately my thumb finger of right hand touched with Inverter cable pin plug... as i was under impression that there 
is no current in the inverter cable pin plug as i already removed it from main socket box ...  
 

...but i was wrong.. Current is always being there in Inverter cable till we do not switch off Inverter from its main ON/OFF switch 
mounted  on  Inverter  machine..  This  same  cable  does  Inverter  charging  also  as  well  as  backup  electric  supply  also  when  main 
electric supply cuts from Home appliances.. i.e if we remove this cable from Socket Box, Current will always remain in this cable till 
we do not switch off Inverter from its main ON/OFF switch shown below .. 
 

As my thumb finger touched with Inverter cable pin plug, suddenly i got a high voltage (220‐230V) shock from Inverter almost for 8 
to 9 seconds.. i could not removed myself from Inverter cable...  After lot of shouts from other family members, one of my family 
members came to me as a GOD & removed that cable from my hand forcefully after 8‐9 seconds... & finally  i survived. 
I got a pains from whole body & was abnormal almost for 50‐60 minutes.. 
‐ Please  keep  Inverter  &  its  all  accessories  to  such  a  safe  place  where  somebody  can  not  access  there  easily..  water,  heat 
should not generate there.. 
‐ Put Inverter machine switch & Socket box switch in “OFF” mode before removing its cable from socket box. 
‐ Don’t  remove  Inverter  cable  from  socket  box  until  it  is  very  urgent  to  remove.  Keep  it  as  permanent  connection  till  any 
urgency occurs..
