BMC Instructors Attend a Seminar-Workshop on Module Development

Full-time and part-time instructors attended a seminar-workshop on module


development this morning, July 21, 2020 at the DTI Negosyo Center in Poblacion,
Balud, Masbate.

Mr. Noel H. Dalanon, BMC's acting Department Head, served as the faciliator of the
seminar-workshop.

The participants joined in a lecture-discussion on the development of modules to be


used by BMC students this Academic Year 2020-2021.

In the second part of the event, the participants created a draft of a module to
apply what they learned in the lecture-discussion. Ms. Rexna Relano, one of the
participants, presented her output to the group for peer evaluation.

Also present in the event were OIC-College Administrator Mrs. Doris V. Dalanon and
College Registrar Ms. Silveria S. Bacolod.

This event is part of BMC's transition plan to flexible learning, which is one of
the directives of the Commission on Higher Education.

Flexible learning is the government's response as the COVID-19 pandemic impedes


teaching and learning throughout the country

In BMC, the school management, in consulation with the municipal IATF headed by
Hon. Mayor Ruben Jude D. Lim, has decided to implement modular learning to ensure
the continuity of learning.
