Dr Eun Young Park


Member, SIAC Court of Arbitration; Co-Chair, International Arbitration &
Cross-Border Litigation Practice, Kim & Chang

Dr Eun Young Park is a partner at Kim & Chang, and serves as co-chair
of the International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice Group.

After serving as a judge in the Seoul District Court, Dr Park joined Kim &
Chang where he has led the firm’s international arbitration and cross-
border dispute practice. He specialises in international arbitration on
various issues including commercial and investment disputes, regularly
sits as an arbitrator, and represents multinational corporations in cross-
border litigation.

Dr Park is a Member of the SIAC Court of Arbitration and has served on


the Board of the SIAC. He is on the Board of Trustees of Foundation of
International Arbitration Advocacy. He has served as a Vice President of
the LCIA Court, President of LCIA Asia Pacific Users Council, a Vice Chair
of the IBA Arbitration Committee and a founding Co-Chair of the IBA’s
Asia-Pacific Arbitration Group. He is admitted to the Korean bar and the
New York bar.

Ms Sunyoung Kim
Partner, Lee & Ko

Sunyoung Kim is a partner at Lee & Ko’s International Dispute Resolution


Group. Ms Kim acted as counsel in various international arbitration cases
brought before the ICC, SIAC and KCAB as well as in ad-hoc arbitrations.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms Kim gained experience in cross-border joint
venture and M&A transactions and its related disputes in major U.S. law
firms. Ms Kim has been recognized as a “Next Generation Partner” by
Legal 500 in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Mr Young Suk Park


Partner, KL Partners

Young Suk Park is a partner at KL Partners (Seoul) with a broad and


diversified experience in both international and domestic disputes and
transactions.

He was the general counsel and an executive director of the investment


committee at Atinum Partners, a Korean investment house, being
involved in investments and transactions, encompassing a variety of
sectors, such as energy, natural resources, real estate, buy-outs, start-
ups and public equity.

Prior to his position with Atinum Partners, Mr. Park was a partner with Kim
& Chang’s international arbitration & cross-border litigation practice group.
At the time, his practice focused on international arbitration, involving
multiple ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, such as with the ICC, SIAC,
KCAB, NAI and ZCC. He was also involved in investment treaty disputes
under the ICSID Convention and NAFTA as well as cross-border
litigations in multiple jurisdictions.
