Theoretical Paradigm
Conceptual Framework

The conceptual framework serves as a guide in conducting this study. The

researchers used the input- process –output method as an aid in the completion of the

study. The three blocks or phase of this model are as follows.

Input. The inputs of the study are the profile of the parents and students in terms

of gender educational attainment of parents, occupation, family income and general

average. It also includes the extents of parental involvement in academic performance

of Grade 12 Students in San Agustin Integrated School in terms of homework, project

and presence (attendance) in school.

Process. This consists of the collection of data through the instruments which

was the questionnaire-checklist reflecting on the topic that were discussed by the

researcher. Further, this involves the step-by-step procedure of the researchers to

come up with the results and findings.

Output. The possible output of the study is an infographic that shows parental

involvement between the parents and their children. The out was based on the data

gathered and findings of the study.
