Statement of the Problem

This study focused on the Impact of Parental Involvement in Academic

Performance of Grade 12 students in San Agustin Integrated School.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the socio-demographic profile of the participants in terms of?

1.1 gender

1.2 educational attainment of parents

1.3 occupation

1.4 family income

1.5 general Average

2. Is there a significant relationship between parental involvement and academic

performance of students?

3. What material may be proposed based from the findings of the study?

Assumptions

This study is premised with the assumption that the socio-demographic profile of

the respondents in terms of gender, educational attainment of parents, occupation,

family income and general average varies.
