Introduction
This document is a software requirement specification for Freelancing application
named as
Kaam.pk. In this document, firstly we are going to define the problem and introduce
purpose and the
scope of this document. Secondly, we are going to give an overall description. Then,
we are going to
state specific requirements. Lastly, we are going to give external interface
requirements.
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this SRS is to outline both the functional and non-functional
requirements as well as
the external interfaces, requirement identifying techniques, design constraints and
specifications of
the project Kaam.pk. Consequently, the document should act as a foundation for
efficient and wellmanaged project completion and further serve as an accurate
reference in the future. The primary
audience of this SRS document will be the development team employed to implement.
It will further
assist with developer/stakeholder interactions. The secondary document audience
comprises the
stakeholders of the project, that is, freelancers (to sell their products)
and buyers (to get their desire
product at doorstep without going outside). To this audience group, this SRS should
convey and
confirm the required functionality and represent a contractual agreement between the
involved
parties.
1.2 Scope
Our proposed system is an Android and iOS application which will provide a
freelancing platform
for local freelancers who want to sell services locally. In this system seller can create
his/her gig about
his service and will be notified when customer approaches him/her gig.
Many freelancers cannot
make their gig prominent or it takes much time to populate gig on the international sites
like
Fieverr.com, so this system will help freelancers show their skills on local level. Most
emphasized
local services are Cooking, delivery of items, event management etc. System will
provide interactive
interface that everyone can easily use this system, place order, and set time frame for
the completion
of the project. Customer can browse through the talent available on our application and
make a direct
offer to a freelancer, browse
freelancer profiles, and Compare gigs and select the best one. Proposed
system ensures customers control the completion of projects and payments. Only
release payment
through an easy payment method JazzCash and Credit card, when benchmarks are
met, or when a
project is completed to customer’s satisfaction.
