Artifact Description: Parody of Queen about George Washington

What you learned: I learned how to make an educational song that helps my students learn

more about upcoming class materials.

What you learned about your Multiple Intelligence results (include the scores from the

survey): What I learned from my Multiple Intelligence Results is that I am pretty adequate in all

areas except for anything having to do with math. My highest scores were musical at a 4.86/5,

body movement at a 4.86/5, and self at 4.43/5. My math was my lowest grade at a 1.71/5 and my

second lowest grade was nature at a 3.14/5. I knew that my score for music and physical activity

would be my highest because they are my favorite things and what I spend the most time doing,

however, I did not expect my sense of self score to be that high.

National Educational Technology Standards for Students Addressed: The NETS standard

that I believe is being met while doing this project is the Designer standard because you are

making a song that can help facilitate learning on a certain subject that you want your class to

learn more about.

Applications of Skills Learned for the Future: This project easily fits into the school

curriculum because it is very easy to have you or your students make a sign about a certain topic

in the subject you are learning and use it as a learning tool to try and make the lesson more fun.

The teacher can make the song and show it to the class or you can have an assignment where

each student makes a song and presents it to their peers as a way to learn more about the topics in

the unit or section of the class you are currently teaching. It is a very easy way to engage the
students and do something different than what you would usually do to teach the class on any

regular day.
