Topic 1.2-1.5
3. Accorsing to Aristotle, the body is the temple of soul. Plato said to send all
to the masters of physical training so that our bodies can cater to mind. While
Socrates stated that it is disgraceful to not to grow old and not know the full
potential of our bodies. All their statements lead to the same meaning. Our
bodies are instruments of our minds. One cannot have a healthy mind without
first having a healthy body. All our lives we chase after beauty and the
accomplishment of feeling good. When in fact a happiness can only be felt
after achieving something you worked hard for. Exercising both mind and
brain go hand in hand. Our bodies can achieve anything with the right state of
mind.

Summative Activity
-Aristotle viewed the body as the our soul's container. Our mind is like water,
it takes the shape of the container. In order for the mind to be healthy, our
body must be healthy as well.
Plato implies the significance of training our bodies so that it may be able to
cater to our mind. Our body and mind must work as one in order achieve our
goals. Socrates gave importance to not being a stranger to physical training.
He believes that there is beauty to be found when our bodies reach it's full
potential through exercising.
