I did not catch the food for thought and the the national anthem so I apoliigize

The session started at around 8:05 in the morning with a prayer led by Sir Mark Elyzear Campado.

The First session, presented by the resource speaker Sir Theody Dagohoy is about grade 3 competency
which states that

The learner should describe the uses of light, heat and electricity in everyday life

and presented specific objectives as follows:

1. classify sources od light into natural or artificial

2. identify sources of light, heat, sound electricity and
3. cite importance of light, heat, sound and electricity

The comprehensive presentation began with the topic about light - where light comes from.

In this activity, participants were asked to classify light into natural and artificial.

The second activity tackles about the uses of light.

The resource speaker also presented key concepts about bioluminescence, uses of it, artificial light
sources, incandescence, phosphorescence and its uses, flouresence and its uses, chemiluminescence
and its uses, luminous and nonluminous objects, common forms of luminous energy, and the uses of
light.

The third activity is about the uses of heat. Pictures were presented were used in describing the uses of
heat. Key concepts presented includes natural sources of heat, like solar energy, human body,
geothermal energy, biomass and fossil fuels… artificial sources of heat like chemical action, mechanical
action and nuclear reaction and the uses of heat energy.

The fourth activity is entitled sound check. In this activity, participants were asked to describe through
pictures, the sources and uses of sound. Another objective of the activity is appreciating the importance
of sound. Key concepts were presented. One is the sources l=of sound like acoustic instruments,
electronic instruments, living things that uses body parts to produce sound, machines, nature like the
energy released from falling water, beaches, thunder after lightning and howling of winds. Another
concept shown was the importance of sound.

The next activity is entitled power me up which describes the uses of electricity. In the activity, a box
containing words are used to complete each statement. Key concept includes current electricity,
renewable energy sources like hydro, solar, wind, tidal, geothermal and biomass, non-renewable Energy
sources of Electricity like oil, natural gas and coal. Uses of electricity in entertainment, healthcare,
engineering, transport and communication, outdoors like powering the streetlights and water
fountains, in household, commercial places, office, and in space.
5 minute break was given before we proceeded to the next session.

The second session was rolled out with the same presentor, Sir Theody Dagohoy. The enabling objective
of the activity includes the participants should illustrate how light, sound and heat travel through
different materials, classify materials according to their ability to respond to light sound and heat, define
reflection and refraction of light and sound operationally, and relate the concepts to real life situations.

The first activity describes how light travels using a flashlight illustration board and cardboard. The
participants were
