We make adjustable temperature for that minus delta T from hot stream.

∆ T min =10 C

FOR PINCH TEMPERATURE:

using temperature-interval method, first arrange adjustable temperature in decreasing

order, then mark the range of temperature of hot and cold streams then calculate heat
Q(KW )=C ×(T 1−T 2) after that calculate value of initial pass by taking Q=0 initially
and then add it to following Q e.g. R1= 0+48=48 similarly, for all values. after that find out
the minimum value from the values of R and add that value in final pass and then
calculate values of final pass the top value in final pass is your hot utility and the bottom
value is your cold utility.

Cold Utility 130 KW

Cold pinch temperature =140 C

Hot pinch temperature =140+10=150 C
