Censorship of books

Daniel Ramirez Castro

Censorship of books is a deplorable action, because it would critically impact the

society, book is the solution to problems, and it would be a world inhabited by ignorant.

Primarily starts by Chi Shing Huang, the censorship of minds and knowldges

Continuing with the second reason, which in a more convenient way could be related and
explained by the fantastic book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451 importantly
encompasses a fundamental situation involving an individual and books, it is deeply explained
as an society characterized of the rejection and taking action over books, the burning of it.
Where the books are seeing as enemies of people because they supposedly contribute on
impacting damaging its happiness, which by the way their desire is to live only in a complete
enjoyment rather than think or philosophize. Already provided the introduction, the point goes
to books as the source of solution to problems, which the protagonist (Montag) of Fahrenheit
451 would appropriately illustrate my reason. Montag plays an important role in the book by
being the man who wants to rediscover and illuminate himself as its society. The point goes on
the books he had took from a burning books mission, eventually he founds her wife (Mildred)
and tired shows the books and questions himself yelling

The third and final reason, which touches why we should be passionate about books, which if
not the case, it would provide the guns for the absolute control of the government over us, we
would closely be like sheep’s or could be expressed in another way as this quote ¨But when
people are too ignorant to know what’s happening to them, then it is easy to put out lamps
one by one¨ (page 171) , where being informed plays an important role, and the source is
simply books, as how this quote expresses ¨If people valued books, it would be impossible to
maintain censorships. No one, no government can control, informed people.¨ (page 171)

I conclude then that books are essential and it would be a disaster for the society, the second
reason works that seeking for books would be important since they provide with information
that would be analyzed and present conclusions for your problems or situations and finally the
third reason which would evade on becoming and ignorant.
