I watched the documentary “china blue”.

the documentary is about a girl named Yasmine working in a jeans factory in china. This is
why you should watch it:

You should watch it because you get a look into the life of a girl who gets abused for only a
small salary. Yasmine has to work 20 hours a day, she has to make jeans all the time and she
gets paid 10 cents an hour, so that’s 2 euros a day! If you watch it, you’ll be aware about
what happens for you to get a pair of jeans, so don’t just buy a pair, also be aware if people
got abused for you to wear jeans. The documentary shows exactly what’s going on there,
they also show how illegal this is. I think it’s good that they made the documentary, because
as I said: it makes you aware and you see what happens to a normal girl who just needs
money. It’s sad that there are actually people running a factory like this. The documentary
was also kind of made to stop this kind of abuse. The documentary EXACTLY followed
Yasmine around, they filmed everything she needs to do for 20 hours straight and what
happens if she didn’t do it. I think the creators did a very great job on this, it was very clear
for me what happens to people who work in an abusing factory.
