Dear Sir,
It is our pleasure to engage you as our ​‘Point of Sale Person’ (“POSP”)​. As a POSP, you will
be responsible to help clients and prospective clients to evaluate and purchase insurance
products on Symbo India Insurance Broking Limited’s (the ​‘Company’​) online portals including
website and app. You will be remunerated accordingly and detailed compensation and payout
structures will be shared with you on your registered email address after completion of
onboarding process. The compensation and payout structures are subject to change and will be
communicated to you on your registered email address and/or via letter. No other payouts
including out-of-expenses will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities of POSP​: As our POSP, you will be responsible for the following:
a. Identification of clients who are in need of insurance.
b. Connecting the client to the Company’s insurance advisory products and help them
evaluate/ understand their insurance needs using the Company’s online tools.
c. Help them explore insurance quotes and policies on the Company’s online portals.
d. Enable the online premium payment process and online policy issuance.
e. Assist the client with any other insurance service request that he/ she may have at any
point of time.
f. Provide all the necessary documentation as requested by the Company’s onboarding
advisor to start
g. You will work exclusively for Symbo India Insurance Broking Limited. You will not be
engaging themselves with any other Insurer or Insurance Intermediary.
h. You will solicit & do marketing of only list of pre-underwritten products approved by IRDA
as provided by Symbo India Insurance Broking Limited.

Responsibilities of the Company: The Company will undertake the following activities as part
of this engagement:
a. Acquire partnerships with insurance companies and list their insurance products with
details on the Company’s online portals.
b. Provide you with the necessary tools to help the customer evaluate insurance needs,
compare quotes and buy policies on the Company’s online portals.
c. Assist you and the customer in policy issuance, endorsements, claims and other service
requests related to insurance during Business Hours and to the best extent possible.
d. Enable periodic payouts to the account details provided by you, subject to applicable
payout structures, withholding taxes bank and availability of banking facilities. Delays
shall be intimated in due time.

Liability and Indemnity​:
a. As a POSP, you agree to indemnify the Company of any miscommunication that you
may engage in during the process of enabling the customer evaluate and purchase
insurance on the Company’s online portals.
b. The Company will not be responsible of product deficiencies, contractual breaches, fraud
or any other events arising on account of the actions of either the customer or the
insurance company.
c. In no event shall the Company be responsible to the POSP or to any third party seeking
damages whether in contract, tort (including damages) or otherwise, for any special,
indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential losses, damages, costs or expenses
whatsoever, including without limitation, damages, time or losses of goodwill or
reputation. The Company shall not be liable to the POSP for any loss, injury, liability,
damage, costs, claims or expenses suffered or incurred by the POSP, arising from or
connected with activities arising out of or related to this engagement.
