Non Shrink Cementitious Grout

SEALPROOF NON-SHRINK CEMENTITIOUS GROUT 8008 is a non-shrink, cement-based, high

strength developing grout, which is specially formulated for use in critical grouting operations
where positive expansion and non-staining characteristics are required.

How to Use

Surface Preparation Clean surface from debris, oil, grease, dirt, laitance, impregnations,
waxes and other contaminants.
Surface should be dry and free from damp, moisture or standing water.
Metal surfaces should be clean, free from rust and grease.

Mixing It is highly recommended to use a mechanical mixer. Cement powder

should be added to gauged water. A free flowing and self leveling grout
can be obtained depending on the product consistency required.

Flowable at 4.5L of water : 13.75 liters of grout

Trowellable at 3.5L of water : 12.5 L of grout

Application Formwork
The formwork should be water tight. Use mastic sealant to seal gaps
between formwork & concrete, as well as joints in the formwork itself.

Placing

Pour grout within 15-20mins after mixing to gain full advantage of the
expansion process. Grouting of base plate should be carried out
continuously. Ensure to have enough material in place prior placing.
Star placing the mixed grout from one side of the formwork to
prevent entrapment of air. During application ensure entrapped air is able
to escape through relief holes. Check for any loss in the material through
the formwork or between any unsealed joints

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice : Remove contaminated clothing

If inhaled : Keep patient calm, remove to fresh air, and summon medical help.
On skin contact : Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eye
Lids held open, consult an eye specialist.
On ingestion : Immediately rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water, summon
Physician.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Use appropriate protective equipment. Avoid contact with material. Dampen material with water to
control dusting. Scoop up and transfer to appropriate container for disposal. Flush spill area with water.
 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Prevent inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes. Clean hands thoroughly after handling.
Precautions also apply to emptied containers. Personal protective equipment must be worn during
maintenance or repair of contaminated mixer, reactor, or other equipment. Store in sealed containers in a
cool, dry, ventilated warehouse location

The product can de virtually eliminated from water by abiotic processes e.g adsorption onto activated
sludge.
Do not discharge product into natural waters pretreatment (biological treatment plant).
Behavior and environmental fate.

Inhibition of degradation activity in activated sludge is not to be anticipated during correct introduction of
low concentrations.
