Yesterday was a great day, the majority of my class got a 20 on the quiz, Mr. Bellodasi
explained the class as a living story, he raised his voice to get our attention, he talked
about The city of Caral, he explained that Caral is the oldest culture of America, it is
about 5000 years old, the first ancient Peruvians lived there. It is surrounded by 32
pyramids of solid rock and a small town close to Supe river, Caral was a religious place
, It was important for ancient Peruvians, and now is important for our culture. Mr.
Bellodas helped us to learn about our ancestors, and also he help us to get 20 on the
quiz because only with his words, he transported us in time, we didn't need the board,
we only use the teacher's knowledge and our attention. What a great class!

Sentences in simple past are used to express a previous event or old action, they use regular or irregular verbs:
Affirmative: Uses the basic structure of a sentence: Subject + Verb (past) + complement.
Correct: My sister worked in the factory last year. Incorrect: My sister work in the factory last year
The boys studied in Cruz Saco five years ago / my parents talked about sex during dinner.
Negative: Uses the auxiliary "DID", when using auxiliary, the verb goes in its original form (present)
Correct: Your father didn't learn math at school incorrect: Your father didn't learned math at school.
The teacher didn't ask students about the class / the students didn't answer the questions on the quiz

Remember: DID is use with negative and interrogative sentences, Also most sentences use a time expression to give the
past idea. "Did not = didn't"
