honest.” (Prov. 11:1) CEV.

Day 4
January 4, 2021

1. “His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and
they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with
them. When a period of feasting had run its course, Job
would send and have them purified. Early in the morning, he
would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking,
‘perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their
hearts.' This was Job’s regular custom." Job 1:4-5 NIV.
Let us pray and consecrate our sons and daughters unto the
Lord God this 2021. Let's pray for God’s mercy where they
have failed Him and also pray for them, “That our sons may
be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may
be as cornerstones, polished after the similitude of a palace."
Ps. 144:12.
2. Let us pray and consecrate our husbands that the LORD will
inhabit them and make them an instrument in His hands in this
life and ministry. “May my lord pay no attention to that wicked
man Nabal. He is just like his name - his name is Fool, and
folly goes with him…” 1Sam. 25:25 NIV. Let us pray that God
will deal with every folly in our husbands and daddies and
make them good stewards in God’s vineyard. “The wise
woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish
tears hers down.” Prov. 14:1 NIV.

us Thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us Thy salvation.” (Ps. 85:4-
7) KJV.
"For there is hope of a tree if it be cut down, that it will sprout
again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock

bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant." (Job 14:7-9) KJV
