IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR NORCET-2020

Please read the Instruction as given in Result Notification No.: 13/2021 dated 18.01.2021.

Introduction

NORCET is an All India Common Eligibility Examination conducted for the purpose of recruitment
of Nursing Officers in AIIMS. It stands for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test
conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi. The detailed information is available at Advertisement Notice
No. 106/2020 dated 05.08.2020.

The Examination was conducted in CBT Online mode on 8th September 2020 and the result of the
NORCET-2020 has been declared vide Result Notification no.110/2020 dated 08th October 2020.

Application for choices and order of preference of Institute for allocation of Institute has been
exercised by the provisionally eligible candidates from 07.11.2020 to 20.11.2020(05.00 PM) and
extended till 25.11.2020 (05.00 PM) and further opened from 03.12.2020 to 05.12.2020 (05.00
PM).
Result of provisionally selected candidate has been published vide Result Notification No.:
13/2021 dated 18.01.2021.

NORCET RANK

NORCET Rank will be used for direct recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer (Group B posts) in
all AIIMS in the pay scale at the Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-
34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4600/-) or as revised from time to time.

All Candidates who have appeared and qualified as per the Pattern & Scheme of Examination
have been issued a NORCET Individual Result containing all details of the NORCET Rank. This can
be viewed in My Page on portal where online form has been submitted. A list of all qualified
candidates, with rank has been published on the website www.aiimsexams.org.
PROCEDURE:

Stage – I (Process of Application for choices and order of preference of Institute for allocation):

Stage II & Stage III :

Step- 1 : Exercise of OPTION to ACCEPT

The result of provisionally selected candidate on the basis of NORCET Rank and application of
choices of Institute for allocation and order of preference exercised in Stage – I.

All the provisionally selected candidates are mandatorily required to login in portal through My
Page and exercise on of the following options

OPTION-1: Accept &wish to Report &Join at allocated Institute and do not want to participate
insubsequent rounds of Institute allocation (This is the Final choice of institute by
candidate).

OPTION-2: Accept and Want to participate in subsequent rounds (if any) of Institute allocation
to upgrade to another Institute which was higher in order of preference at the time
application for Institute and where no offer has been made.

Note: -
1) Candidates selecting OPTION-1 shall upload document as required and follow further
instruction as received in portal/Email/SMS.
2) All candidates must exercise OPTIONs carefully as no change is allowed after closing dates.
3) OPTION-2 shall not be available to those who have been allocated Institute at first
preference and have to mandatorily choose OPTION – 1 and complete further processes as
applicable.
4) Candidate who has selected OPTION-2
a) shall also complete other processes as required but will not be able to join on allocated
Institute till further instructions.
b) If is offered AIIMS of higher preference during subsequentrounds, then the previous
offered AIIMS (for which the Option-2 was chosen) will be vacated automatically and the
candidate will have to re-follow the procedure mentioned for newly offered AIIMS during
ongoing round. All rights related to previous offered Institute shall be forfeited without
any further notice.
c) Where a Candidate Accepted as OPTION2 and did not get any upgradation to higher
preference of Institute in subsequent rounds will have option available, to Accept (as
OPTION -1) within a given time period, of previously allocated post subject to completion
of process and verification of eligibility.
d) Candidates are required to deposit a security deposit (refundable after joining) of Rs.
25000.00 (rupees Twenty-five thousand only) as per Payment method prescribed below.
5) Above options must be exercised actively &carefully within given dates otherwise the offers
will lapse and all offered seats will be forfeited and deemed to be equivalent to refusal to
accept andhis/her seat allocation shall stand cancelled and he/she shall not be eligible for
further Round of online Seat Allocation, if any.

Step- 2 : Uploading of Certificate

6) All provisionally selected candidate irrespective of OPTION selected above are required to
upload certificates as per list provided below.
7) Upload the color scanned copy of required original certificate as per dates mentioned in result
notification and Important dates Section of portal.
8) Uploading of Certificate will be allowed only after exercising of option to ACCEPT as in Step 1
above.

a) Proof of Date of Birth or Class 10th(Matriculation) Certificate.
b) Proof of Essential Educational Qualification (Original, Provisional, Degree, Diploma,
Certificate) along with Proof of Date of Result Declaration/Issue of Certificate.
c) Registration Certificate as Grade “A” Nurse or Midwife from State/Indian Nursing Council.
d) Experience Certificates in case of Diploma (GNM) Holder clearly indicating Number of Beds
of Hospital and Duration of Experience.
e) NOC - Candidates are required to upload NOC who are currently working in
Central/State/PSB/PSU bodies.
f) Valid Category Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS.
g) PWBD Certificate showing extent of disability issued by authorized/competent authority.
h) Registration Slip of online registration having Candidate Signature.
i) Admit Card having Candidate Signature.
j) Copy of original ID Card for proof of Identity issued from any government Authority.
k) Latest Photograph
l) Scanned Signature
m) Scanned Left thumb impression.
n) Standard Declaration (Form A)
o) Copy of Address proof issued by any government authority like Electricity Bill, Ration Card,
Voter Card etc.

Step- 3 : Payment Method of Security/Caution Deposit

Candidates choosing OPTION2 as mentioned above have to mandatorily follow procedure as


mentioned below:-

a. Deposit a refundable caution money of Rs 25000.00 by electronic fund transfer by

Upload RTGS/NEFT transaction detail in the online Institute Allocation portal where
options have been exercised.
b. The amount of Rs 25000.00 deposited will be refunded once the candidates Selects
Option-1 during subsequent rounds of offer of AIIMS and reports to the accepted AIIMS.

Step- 4 : Verification of Uploaded Certificate


a) The uploaded document will be preliminarily scrutinized by the respective Institute as per
eligibility criteria.
b) The outcome of such verification will be notified through portal only.
c) Any further requirement to submit clarification, additional documents etc. have to be
completed in time bound manner and failure to respond accordingly in specified time
period may lead to cancellation of candidature.

9) Any vacancy arising due to any reasons shall be added only in subsequent rounds for allocation.
10) All future Communication shall be made through Email/SMS/Portal.
