• Make a reference line XY.
• Divide the XY line into 5 parts and label them as D, E, F, G, H at a distance of 30mm
each.
• Now make the projectors of all the 5 points as mentioned in the question.
• Using DIMENSION command specify the dimensions of all the specified points.
• Using TEXT and STYLE command label the 5 points.

RESULT: We completed the projection of the given points on a common reference line via
AUTO CAD.

QUES 2A

AIM: A line AB 80mm long has its end A 20mm above HP and 25mm in front of VP. The line
is inclined at 45° to HP and 35° to VP. Draw its projections

• From a draw a line inclined at 35 degree in top view.
• Draw the locus and then using ARC command draw the arcs of the required the
radius.
• Join the arc end point and a’ and a respectively.
• Using the DIMENSION command label specify the dimensions of all the label points.
• Using STYLE and TEXT command specify the points.

RESULT: We completed the projection of the given points on a common reference line via
AUTO CAD.

AIM: A pentagonal pyramid of base side 30mm and axis length 60mm is resting on HP on
one of its base corners with its axis parallel to VP. Draw its projections when the slant edge
containing the resting corner is vertical.

• Construct a pentagon of base side 30mm in 3D view.

• Via model layout show all the 4 views i.e., TOP, SIDE, FRONT, ISOMETRIC views.
• Using DIMENSIONS command show the required dimensions.
• Using Style and Text command label all the required points.

RESULT: We a pentagonal pyramid of base side 30mm and axis length 60mm is resting on
HP on one of its base corners with its axis parallel to VP via AUTO CAD.
QUES 4 A:
Aim: To complete the given model using sweep command.

Procedure:
1)Make a horizontal line ab of length 150mm.
2)Draw a vertical line of length 20mm (c) above a and 28mm(d) below
a. 3)Draw circles of radius 15 mm from b and c
4)Make an arc of r=50mm that connect both the circles through fillet
command.
5)From d draw a horizontal line of 15mm to the left. (E)
6) join the circle of point a and e by an arc of radius 30mm through fillet.
7)Join all parts through region command and then sweep them to show them in
different views.
