The great artists of the past are becoming rare

and are irreplaceable. There was a time when


long works about sunsets, sea voyages and
leisure were read which are now just left at the
mercy of the train and air travellers. People
nowadays do not read. Poetry is alien to them
and reading aloud extinct. They have become
hopeless and lazy. A change of values is a need
of the hour.
