1. Write a short opinion about aesthetics and art in Poetry.
 My opinion on aesthetics within the relative scope of letters, study the resources used and the
objectives pursued by the artist. In this the literature has a classical orientation that addresses the
artist's goals and intentions and the effects and perceptions on the reader. Then, literary aesthetics
is related to the subjective, that is, to determine whether a certain literary work is beautiful or not,
the subjectivity of each one intervenes. And the factors that determine aesthetic evaluation, in
addition to subjectivity, are the economic, social, political, philosophical, religious, and
educational aspects. Such factors require training and experience. So, this is an element of literary
aesthetics understood as one that shocks the senses and the mind of the recipient before the literary
work. So there are different degrees or levels of shock at the same work.
 And my opinion about art in poetry is that poetry is a literary genre characterized by being the
most refined manifestation, through the word, of the feelings, emotions and reflections that human
beings can express about the beauty, love, life or death. As such, it can be composed in both verse
and prose, and it is here that poets use a different way of expressing themselves from other people
and are only shown to readers by their imagination and literary skills through poetry. So the truth
of poetry is to truly paint the human soul.

3. What feelings elicit you when you read the poem:

a) “THE LAKE ISLE OF INNISFREE” By William Butler Yeast.
• It’s a very good reference to a poem that expresses the whole spirit of a people that seeks to
find its roots. Giving a feeling of belonging, deplore hatred, nationalist intolerance,
introspection, his poetry is full of a moving contrast between life and ideal beauty .

b) “A PRAYER IN SPRING” By Robert frost.

 It gives us a feeling of warmth, emotion, captures our interest, it is a kind of parable with a
literal meaning, an anecdote, with enough coherence and strength not to depend on its other
deeper meaning, a metaphysical sense. Frost's poetry would share, in his opinion, a gesture of
going beyond the visible reality of things: “The man, the field, the animal; Heaven, everything,
at the first word, is present and exact. He tries to cross that first reality that the senses perceive
in a tone of anecdotal poetry.
