Dear Parents,
I hope you are all keeping well. Once again I would like to thank you for all of your hard work and for engaging through Seesaw.
The enclosed timetable of work is designed to ensure continuity in learning for your child from home. We have laid out what, we feel, are age appropriate
times for subject areas, as a helpful guide for you.
Junior Infants:
As teachers, we know every child is different and that each individual family is facing its own unique challenges at present. We are aware that many
children will need help if undertaking the suggested work, and you may, or may not be able to give them that help. You know your child best - you know what
they need and what works best for them, so feel free to do it your own way. Please note that these learning activities are not intended to cause stress
or anxiety, pick and choose from them. We understand that families are under pressure and that your and their health is the main priority. Please
feel free to contact us by phone or email if we can be of any further assistance.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me through email (bgarnslfeighery@eircom.net) or Seesaw.
Kind regards,
Lucy Feighery
Please continue to read below this timetable for some extra activities that can be completed during the week if you choose to do so

Topic for this week: Growing and Changing
As I grow I change
Have a little chat with your child about growing and changing.
-Identify some of the factors that promote growth: food, love, warmth, exercise, rest, sleep etc.
-Realise that growth and change are part of the process of life and are unique to each individual
Physical: increase in shoe size, need to cut hair and nails frequently etc.
Social: interacting with others, sharing, arguing, talking, playing together
Intellectual: drawing, writing, reading, questioning, things I can do for myself
Spiritual: fostering wonder and imagination through the senses, beginning to reflect, availing of quiet time
Talk to your child about responsibility and how taking responsibility for himself/herself and others increases as he/she grows older
