GOALS of this Project:

1. The student will be able to explain the purpose of the independent agencies and their
purpose within the executive branch.
2. The students will identify and describe the activities of several independent agencies.

Directions:

1. You will create and record a video newscast of your chosen independent agency.
a. First, research your agency.
i. Location of your agency
ii. Purpose of your agency
iii. Responsibilities/Activities of your agency
iv. How does your agency help the American people?
v. Find symbol(s)/picture(s) of your agency
b. Create your video newscast.
i. Should be 2-3 minutes long
1. Include a SCRIPT that needs to be typed or handwritten (see next page)
ii. Include all the information in part a (look above)
iii. Make it professional
