How to download Zoom

A guide for most devices

Click the link below that corresponds to the device you are using.

Downloading Zoom on an iPad or iPhone

Step 1: Open the App Store (icon pictured below)

Step 2: Search for “Zoom”

Step 3: Tap “Get.” You will know the installation is complete when the
“Get” button becomes the “Open” button.
 Downloading Zoom on an Android phone or tablet
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store (icon pictured below).

Step 2: Click into the search bar at the top of the screen and search for
zoom

Step 3: Click the green “Install” button. The app will download, and
when it is finished, you will know because where the Install button
previously was, there will be a green “Open” button. Now you’re done
installing zoom on your phone.
 Downloading Zoom on a PC
Step 1: Visit https://zoom.us/download. Under “Zoom Client for
Meetings” click the blue button that says “Download” (pictured below)

OR
After clicking on a meeting link, click “download & run
Zoom” (pictured below)

Step 2: In the bottom left of your screen click on the Zoom Installation
Package (“ZoomInstaller.exe”)
Step 3: The installation should automatically run. If you get any pop-ups
requesting permissions from your computer, click “Allow.” Otherwise,
when you see the window below, your download is complete.
 Downloading Zoom on a Mac
Step 1: Visit https://zoom.us/download. Under “Zoom Client for
Meetings” click the blue button that says “Download” (pictured below)

OR
After clicking on a meeting link, click “download & run
Zoom” (pictured below)
Step 2: When it appears at the bottom of your screen, click on the
Zoom Installation package to open it and start your download.

Step 3: If you get this message, there will be a few additional steps.
If you do not get this message, click here to skip to step 4.
Step 3a: Click the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen
and go to “System Preferences.”

Step 3b: Click “Security & Privacy.”

Step 3c: Click the lock at the bottom left of the window to make
changes to your privacy settings.
Step 3d: Under “Allow apps downloaded from:” click “App Store and
identified developers.”

Step 3e: Click the lock again to save your changes.

 Step 3f: Run the installation package again (see step 2)
Note: if you no longer see the image from step two in your browser, you
will need to go to your “Downloads” folder and double click on the
installation package from there. (pictured below)

Step 4: When prompted, click “Continue”

Step 5: When you see the window below, the download is complete and
you are all set!
