 Technology swallowed a human person. If we allow ourselves to get consumed

by modern technology, we lose the essence of who we are as beings of this
world. We are swallowed by technology if we are constantly plugged online and
no longer have authentic personal encounters. If we cannot let go of the
conveniences and profits brought about by processes and industries that pollute
the environment and cause climate change, technology has consumed our

- Our cellphone is what we usually check first thing in the morning and the
last thing we put down before going to bed. It is undeniably true that
most of us have our phone always with us and our lives revolve around
different social media platforms such as Facebook. Although it allows us
to have means of social connection, however, lessens the value of
personal interaction. Clearly, technology today made incursions into our
lives.
