- The picture does support the hypothesis that flooding has increased
recently in the Philippines due to loss of forest cover. As seen in the picture,
the years 1900 and 2010 has a big difference with each other when it comes
to the number of percentages of the forest in the country and the
deforestation done by humans brought about an increased number of
floods in the country as the years passed by.
