The Pentamix machine is the only automix system for impression materials
that works with just the touch of a button. It delivers quick, flawless and
aseptic impressions the first time and every time. So forget the tedious
kneading, contamination, inconsistencies and excess waste problems
associated with hand-mixing. Pentamix:
• Dispenses the exact amount of material directly into
the tray or syringe

Pentamix® One-Step Tray/Syringe Impression Technique
Step 1
Open Pentamix access door, raise plungers by
turning plunger adjustment knob clockwise and
insert cartridge with Dimension® Penta L Syringe
material. Turn adjustment knob counterclockwise
to lower plungers into contact with polybags.
To fill impression syringe, slide rear opening
of syringe onto Penta mixing tip nozzle and fill
to desired level.

Step 2
Open Pentamix access door, raise plungers by
turning plunger adjustment knob clockwise and
insert cartridge with Dimension Penta H Tray
material. Turn adjustment knob counterclockwise
to lower plungers into contact with polybags.

Step 3
Begin to syringe material around the preparation
while loading tray, keeping nozzle of Penta mixing
tip immersed in material.

Step 4
Complete syringing low-viscosity (light body)
Dimension Penta L Syringe material around
preparation and position tray into mouth.

Step 5
Apply brief pressure, allowing syringe material
to flow into subgingival marginal areas. Hold
tray intraorally without exerting pressure until
material sets.

Step 6
Once impression has set, rinse and disinfect
it. Wait approximately 60 minutes before
pouring impression.
