Marketing and Public Relations.

English is a very important subject for anyone in any area and specifically in this subject you are
going to learn introductory vocabulary and grammar aspects that will enable you to create the
basis to improve reading and comprehension of texts and articles related to your area of studies
written in English. You will learn how to build sentences using the correct structures and
understand different words in the right context through note taking, summarizing and using
English dictionaries and grammars in the correct way.

II. TEACHING STRATEGIES

The lessons will always be theoretical and interactive and for the students to be successful, they
will need to be very engaged and committed to the studies, do every task on time and be active
during the lectures. For each of the five topics, there will be a minimum of two texts to be read
and discussed and the main focus will be on learning new vocabulary. The lecturer will always
provide the students with the necessary materials (texts).
III. ASSESSMENT STRATEGIES

There will be 2 written tests (individual) and 1 group test and a written exam according to the
institutional regulations. Behaviour, class attendance and active participation will also influence
