What is the patient here?

Problems: weakness, fatigue, unable to complete ADLs, SOB affecting speaking, difficulty
eating, risk for aspiration, fall risk, morphine ( dizziness, headache, constipation

- low endurance
- risk for falling due to impaired balance

Goals:

1 LTG : client will complete hygiene tasks without breaks in 1 week MOD Assist
Client will complete hygiene tasks in 4 weeks MOD assist

Types of treatment approach

Modify
- practice sitting during grooming tasks
- increase the diameter of the object/ modify the task
- use a clarisonic
- modify he sequence of tasks
- simplify the steps or task
- visual cues or verbal cue

Create/ promote
- fall risk
- energy conversation training

Maintain
- maintain ADL function
- maintain her routines
- maintain mood, cognition, orientation

- establishing routine for medication and nutrition
- establish exercise program
