WORK METHODOLOGY

Extraction of Rocker Arm at Roller # 4 at 364-RM1

 WORK PROCEDURE

 Coordination to Area Owner and Proponent for the safety work permits and other
documents needed.
 Mobilization and Preparation of Tools and Equipment.
 Apply Lototo Procedure.
 Removal of grinding roller cover. Including rubber air seal, seal holder and seal to be
taken at spare roler assembly.
 Prepare oil container, use empty drums.
 Install empty oil container below the grinding roller piping, and see to it that oil spillages
will be contained on the empty drum.
 Install swing out cylinder.
 Swing-out grinding roller.
 Removal of grinding roller assembly.
 Swing-in rocker arm assembly.
 Removal of rocker arm housing cover, bearing and shafting.
 Install feed bushing rocker arm with lifting plate.
 Set-up wire rope both ends of upper rocker arm housing, hook it to the electric hoist. This
will remain the lower bearing housing.
 Open the manhole of Cylinder
 Install chain block to the hydraulic cylinder, this will serve as support, to release and lift
rocker arm assembly.
 Remove the hydraulic cylinder clamp yoke.
 Rocker arm assembly will be refurbishing by a third-party contractor.
 Secure the area.
 Install the new refurbished rocker arm assembly using electric hoist.
 Secure the rocker arm housing.
 Swing-out rocker arm assembly.
 Install Hydraulic Cylinder Clamp yoke.
 Swing-in rocker arm assembly.
 Install the grinding roller.
 Swing-in the rocker arm assembly.
 HOUSEKEEPING and Turn- over to the area owner.
