WEEKLY/DAILY REPORT

WEEK 4

DAY 19: (21st may)

 I had a morning brief with the team about understandings of offline book marketing. The
company have a collaboration with a Delhi based book agency called Uday which offers
them PR activities for book marketing.
 Researched content and created 5 posts for bookoholics Instagram page and also had a
sitting with typecast person for final formatting of a book.
 My mentor emailed one manuscript and one eBook for reviewing and creating a review
for IG. It is a paid review by an author who contacted us.

DAY 20: (22nd May)

 Submitted the book edit process to my mentor and author which was mailed yesterday.
Also, I was told to email few authors who previously contacted for marketing services for
them.
 Some titles yet to be released by paper towns was given to me via email and I had to sort
them into categories like genre, tags, published or marketed books, type of book
 Made some progress on the manuscript emailed to me and contact my mentor regarding
the progress.

Day 21: (24th May)

 Created and posted content on book dragons page. Curated content for a carrousel post for
the IG page. Also, I have to go through the fan submission excel to find some good write
ups, edit them and create a template of it.
 My mentor introduced me to google ads campaign started by them for both bookoholics
and paper towns India. The ad campaign is on halt for now as the revenue generated is
slowed since February 2021. Then he told me about amazon sponsored ads and how it is
worked. He told me for amazon ad we have to put bid on keyword and also it will be
included category, target audience, and then a bid price is finalised. The bid currently for
paper towns books is at 3rs - 5rs per click.
 I was told to complete the editing of manuscript and start the basic hygiene check for
amazon ads regularly.

Day 22: (25th May)

 Morning started with submission of the fully edited and proofread script.
 I started working on amazon ads which included basic hygiene check. I have to search for
books only published by paper towns India and note down any ambiguities I might find in
its tags.
 Also, I had to do research and curate some content for a post on “reading hacks”. So, I
curated some 10 tricks, used Canva to generate templates for them in carousel and wrote
suitable captions for it.

DAY 23: (26th May)

 Day started with again checking amazon for hygiene check of books.
 Created posts for book dragons which included creating post as well as stories for
engagement. The page had reached 154k people in last 30 days since I started working on
it and gained 632 followers.
 Then I had to contact two influencers on Instagram for a giveaway post. This was more
like brand collaboration and this giveaway was agreed upon the sum of 8k from each
follower. I created content and template for giveaway and it was decided the giveaway will
be live on both accounts – Bookoholics and Paper towns India.

DAY 24: (27th May)

 Contacted one of the accounts that are affiliated with us for paid book review. Also, I had
to generate an excel for people participate in a last giveaway and select top 5 and send it to
my mentor.
 Mridu, is one of our inhouse influencer who wrote a review for a book published by paper
towns India, so I had to proof read it and edit it. Also, the bookoholics gained 340k
followers today.
 Then I had to curated some more content for bookoholics and also posted content on book
dragons.

DAY 25 (28th May)

 Morning started with a con call with same author whose book was submitted to typecast.
Also, I had given the responsibility of finding a book cover designer. So the team had
contacts of some people who previously enquired for this position. I had to mailed them
regarding the same.
 Also did a follow up on authors and influencers.
 Created some more posts on Canva and came up with a new Instagram campaign series
which will be in parts.
