Kian Kaye R. Corbita ‘19 from Lumbo, Valencia City, she finished her Junior and Senior High
School years as a Special Science Program and Science Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics student in Valencia National High School with high honor and received an award
for her loyalty and service. She is one of the researchers in the said school and won in different
competitions from school level to regional level of Science and Technology Fair. She is also an
awardee of Rotary Youth Leadership Award and Saludo sa Batang Valenciano year 6. Also,
Kian is the club service director of Interact Club of Valencia National High School for the year
2019-2020. At Central Mindanao University, she is pursuing a degree of Bachelor of Science in
Chemistry for she believes that one should face her fears and conquer her weaknesses, and
she is also interested to learn more about her course, its real life applications, and its impact to
one’s life. She is also one of the DOST-SEI 2020 scholar in the university. After graduation, she
would like to pursue medicine, attend medical school, and render service for her fellow Filipinos
and for her country.
