of the hellish campaign - for this they didn’t die in
vain, this paper will gave a humane definition of
their deaths

- On November 21, 2015, Duterte announced his intention to run
for President in the upcoming 2016 National Election. He officially
filed a certificate of candidacy through a representative in Metro
Manila on the last day of November. He succesfully won the
position, and the number one reason behind this is his campagin,
the "Oplan-Tokhang" also known as war on drugs.

- This seems to be euphoric campaign turned into a hellish one as

a lot of person dies. A lot has been a victims of plotted operations,
and extrajudicial killings.

- Duterte prove the efficacy of his campaign by showing the high
numbers of death of which he claimed to be "drug users", he
used these datas to scare Filipino people. Leaving everyone
follow his protococols due to fear, and not willingness.

- Due to these situations, the United Nation requested

independent, impartial, and dependable investigations into all
charges of serious violations of human rights and international
humanitarian law in the country.

- The Philippines, according to UN High Commissioner for
Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, is entrenched in "deep-
seated impunity," ," which means the higher ups tend to be
exempted to the punishment of their illegal actions. The
United Nations has passed a resolution demand an
investigation into Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's
"war on drugs," which has led in the killings of thousands of
individuals.

- When the United Nations about to conduct an
investigation. Duterte Decided to cut ties with International
Criminal Court. As a result, any future international crimes
committed in the Philippines will be outside the court's
jurisdiction. Duterte may consider that withdrawing from the
International Criminal Court is a symbol of authority. Duterte
stained his own innocence right when he decided to cut ties
with the ICC

- This tragic situation in the Philippines all started when the
current President of the Country, Rodrigo Duterte won on his
presidential campaign.

- In his campaign the unknown gunmen or vigilantes

emerged. They would enter house by forced and barge into
rooms and said to be during that moment these polices will
plant evidences, these incidents usually happen without this
people carrying warrant of arrest.

- Due to the srious Humanitarian Violations in the
Philippines, United Nations tried to make a move.

- On march 2018, Duterte leave the International

Criminal Court or ICC.

- To get away with ICC's authority, Duetrte create his

own agency to investigate the extrajudicial killings in
the Country.

- This issue made a scratch and casualties to the Philippine
Society, These are:

1. A lot of Victims
2. Over Populated Jails
3. Insufficiency of Lawyers and Over Flowing Courts

RIGHTS LAWYERS TO CONDUCT A STUDY REGARDING
DUTERTE’S AGGRESSIVE WAR ON DRUGS.

 "HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF, WE USED TO NOT BELIEVE
