3. Now answer the following questions.

a. What did you feel while listening to the song? This song made me feel sad, and

of course, it brings back memories of some circumstances that make me feel this

way.

b. Why do you think Adele talks about sadness and regret? Maybe because at

some point in his life he did things that generated those feelings.

c. Have you ever felt what the singer tells? Of course, in various situations I have

felt so desolate, sad and in sore.

4. Write a short story for what happened before and after Adele invented the song.

 Before writing the song, Adele was heartbroken, miserable, abandoned. This story of
abandonment and depression led Adele to write this song. Adele believed that in 40 years of
searching for her love, only to discover that she had married, she had moved on with her
life while still devastated. To get rid of all those feelings she wrote a song, more than
anything, this song talked about the fear of not being able to overcome who you think is the
love of your life. Her struggle to wake up every day and deal with her negative emotions.
Adele, looking back, is grateful for having lived that experience, because thanks to that she
has become a strong, mature woman, capable of withstanding any adversity. Adele
understands that suffering and crying is not the best option, you have to give yourself time
to cry, but in the end, it is best to move on as best you can. It took her a year to recover, but
when she said it all with "Someone Like You" she felt lighter and moved lightly into her
new life.
