ACTIVITY
Presentations are an excellent way to
explain your work, passion and interests
to people. For example, Rahul goes to
the dentist with a toothache. The doctor
shows him a presentation on different
types of teeth and healthy dental
practices. The presentation contains an
outline of the topics covered and slides
elaborating the topics. Can you recreate
a presentation on the same topic using a
template to make it look attractive?

2. Create presentation about the types of software discussed in the earlier

8PROJECT
This project can be done by dividing the students into groups of five.

Each group has to select a profession in which people have to work during the
night. For example, firemen, doctors, nurses, pilots, drivers, security guards,
people working in call centres, news reporters, etc.

Each group should interview people from a profession and find out why they
have to work at night. Gather information about how they manage their day and

night schedules. If possible, collect photos and interesting anecdotes from the
people you interviewed and prepare a report.
Create a presentation
for the information
that has been
collected.
Give it an interesting
title. Provide catchy
subtitles when writing
about various aspects
ofthe topic by
including pictures. Use
formatting concepts
you learnt to make
your presentation
interesting.

EXPLORE!
1. The Audio feature available in the Media group under the Insert tab enables
insertion of audio to the slides. Try to apply it to the presentation.
2. Explore how Clipart available in the earlier versions of PowerPoint has been
replaced in the latest version.
3. Try to open the presentation you've created on an Android device. Make
a note of any differences you observe with the display of slides and other
features.
