Responsibilities:
Acted as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, performing all normal Scrum
Master duties including facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, release
planning, retrospective meetings, and providing leadership and coaching to the team in
support of the Agile development process
Develop and maintain a solid partnership with key project and business stakeholders and
work collaboratively towards a common goal.
Participate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on
methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical
path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and
schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality
parameters
Ensure that the Scrum team is empowered, yet has solid processes and excellent
discipline by following Agile Management Framework (AMF)
Ensure all Scrum working sessions are adhered to throughout project lifecycle
Working closely with developers to ensure they are not blocked and can execute the
process as administered by the Scrum Master
Collaborate with project teams (both on and offshore), create and maintain project plans
and schedules
With the assistance of the Agile Coach, provide proactive coaching to the team and
recommends continuous improvement of processes to optimize team productivity
Perform Agile Maturity assessments for teams, provide coaching and input to reach
higher levels of maturity, continuous improvement
Monitor and track status of iterations/releases and ensure work progress visualization on
the scrum board.
Responsible to implement and execute disciplined Change control process including
communication, estimation and impact to scrum teams and testing
Uses strong business and technical knowledge to implement solutions to impediments,
keeping projects on track
Support and educate the Product Owner, stakeholders on Agile principles and
methodologies to preserve the team from external pressures which may inhibit its
productivity.

Stakeholder management: Support the backlog and release plan, radiate scrum artefacts to
the product owner and team, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress.
Trains scrum teams on the use of Jira to track all work. Works with technology to set up
Jira for Products and Projects.
Responsible and heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings with the
business, fielding questions from the business, as well as handling issues that arise from
the business.

analyse, and derive business, functional and technical requirements

Work within the core delivery team empowered/tasked with design, development,
modification, and implementation of computer applications, and building high
performing delivery teams.
Serve as Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams and coach others in the organization
regarding Agile practices and impacts that action have on the team and its self-
organization (i.e. managers, stakeholders, Product Managers, Program Managers, etc.)

Execute on Scrum Master Responsibilities that include organizing and facilitating daily

Lead Engineer for onshore and offshore Agile/SAFe Development and Operations teams
in full lifecycle delivery of enterprise-wide financial planning and data analysis platforms
for Business Enterprise Systems.
Partner with technical teams for delivery of technical runway in a SAFe Program
matrixed organization.
Work closely with Product Owner to lead Backlog Refinement events, ensure there are
visibility for the team to “look-ahead” of what’s upcoming in the future Sprints and that
the stories have enough details for the team to plan work for.
Partner with Product Owners, Dev, QA, Architects, and project stakeholders in building a
high-performing and self-organizing team.
Facilitate Daily Standups, ensure that blockers and other Post-Scrum action items are
discussed and resolved in a timely manner.
Remove impediments that are preventing the team from accomplishing their goals. Help
the team learn to identify dependencies, skill/knowledge gaps, and other impediments for
their work.
Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums by proactively communicating the team’s
activities, areas of integration and overlap across multiple teams, and removing
organizational blockers. Facilitate Scrum of Scrums as needed.
Lead a collaborative and constructive Sprint Retrospective, ensure that the team’s voice
is heard and valued, and that Retrospective learning’s are documented, acted upon as
needed, applied to the next iteration and shared across multiple Scrum teams.
Facilitate an effective Sprint Review, ensure that attainment of Sprint Goals are clearly
communicated to stakeholders, empower and reward the team to demonstrate completed
user stories and working product increments, solicit feedback from stakeholders on
working product increments and incorporate them to the product’s next iteration.
Develop and track metrics. Exercise judgment when to act upon negative trends and
escalate to Senior Leadership as needed.
Taking Ownership of Scrum Team Commitment each sprint, drive team to effectively
estimate and deliver consistently. Create and Maintain Readouts and Communications on
Development Progress and Impediments for the Scrum Team, Project Management,
Product Owners and Management.
Facilitate valuable Retrospective meetings at the end of each sprint ensure the highest
priority retrospective action items are owned and completed within the identified
timeframe.
