3 PROPOSED RESEARCH TITLES:

1. DIFFICULTIES FACING BY TEACHERS IN MAPEH 7 IN THE PERFORMANCE TASK
IMPLEMENTATION OF SELECTED JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS AT THE VIGA WEST DISTRICT
DIVISION OF CATANDUANES IN LIGHT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

JUSTIFICATIONS:
A Performance Tasks is any learning activity or assessment that asks students to perform to
demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and proficiency. Performance tasks serves as evidence of
learning. In light of Covid-19 where face to face classes is suspended, being a MAPEH teacher
eventhough it is not my major, I want to assess the difficulties faced by teachers like me in the
implementation of performance tasks. As performance tasks is part of the new grading system stipulated
in the DepEd Order No. 31, Series No. 2020 Interim Guidelines for Assessment and Grading in Light of
the Basing Education Learning Continuity Plan. This will serve as a guide for teachers on the assessment
of students learning and on the grading system to be adopted this school year 2020-2021.

2. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY GRADE 10 TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD STUDENTS

IN THE PERFORMANCE TASKS AT THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS AT VIGA WEST DISTRICT
IN LIGHT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021.

JUSTIFICATIONS:
Technology and Livelihood Education is one of the subjects in the Junior High Schools and
Grade 10 students must focus on the performance since tools and equipments as well as mensuration and
calculations are being introduced in the exploratory subjects in TLE in the Grade 7 and 8. This time that
we are on the pandemic, I want to study how they are coping in the challenges with no available tools and
equipments available in their homes.

3. EFFECT OF MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING TO THE SELECTED JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

LEARNERS IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF VIGA EAST AND WEST DISTRICT DIVISION
OF CATANDUANES SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

JUSTIFICATIONS:
Modular Distance Learning features individualized instruction that allows learners to use self-
learning modules (SLMs) in print or digital format/electronic copy, whichever is applicable to that
learners but in our province, in our division we implemented modular print learning modality learners
will learn in their own pace it maximizes the chances to finish the learners activity on their own learning
style and schedule. In a statement on May 8, Education Secretary Leonor Briones said the Basic
Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) is the Department of Education major response and
commitment in protecting the health, safety, and well – being of learners, teachers, and personnel.
Education goes on amid Covid-19 thru DepEd,s Learning Continuity Plan.
