Iraq is one of the important countries in the Middle East. It has
geography with many countries, including Iran, Saudi Arabia,
Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Kuwait.Iraq has many natural
resources, the first of which is oil, water, farming, minerals, and
tourism are other good parts of its economy.The capital of Iraq
is Baghdad, through which the Tigris River passes.It was ruled
by a Prime Minister and House of Representatives. However,
April 1920 the British Mandate of Mesopotamia was created
under the authority of the League of Nations. A British-backed
monarchy joining these vilayets into one Kingdom was
established in 1921 under Faisal I of Iraq. Many tourists come
to Iraq to visit the archaeological monuments, the Iraqi
National Museum, or visit the Habbaniyah Tourist Resort for
swimming and recreation, as well as to visit other places that
attract tourists.Although the official language is Arabic and
Kurdish, but there are minorities in the population who speak
different languages. Iraqi society consists of a homogeneous
mixture of nationalities, ethnicities, and sects.
