Immediate Actions proposed during the Staff Orientation. 2021
1- Form an Entrepreneurship Board/Committee of St Lawrence University
2- Scan and assess possible and priority Entrepreneurship opportunities for SLAU 3- Write the feasibility report and share with management 4- Develop an Action Plan (Work plan and Budget) with involvement of Board/Committee members and build it into a fundable project proposal to be presented to Embassies and development partners for funding, and networks for collaboration 5- Collect and document entrepreneurship projects so far developed by St Lawrence University 6- Use the developed Magazine for initiating partnerships with the Innovations Department of the MTIC, Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU), Chamber of Commerce, Private industries and the Investment Authority 7- Develop the Directorate into a one stop Multi-stakeholder centre for innovative ideas, and use this portfolio to network with research internally and externally 8- Benchmark and network with other Entrepreneurship Directorates elsewhere 9- Stimulate the Faculty into innovation, especially Science and Technology, Industrial Arts and Design, as well as the SPGS
