Number Line Spinner Freebie
*To prep-print, laminate, and cut out the desired number line.
For the number lines that have 20 numbers, you will have to
attach both ends together before laminating.
*To prepare the spinner-print, laminate, and cut the desired
spinner. If you have a premade spinner, just lay it on top of
the printed version. If you don’t, just use a pencil and paper
clip to create a spinner.
*Use any sort of math manipulatives or small objects (Target
Dollar Spot erasers are great) as the game pieces.
*2 or 3 students may play together.
*Students will spin the spinner and move forward or back on
the number line. (ex: +5=move forward 5 spaces; -3=move
back 3 spaces). If a student spins lower than O, that
student remains on 0.
*The first student to reach the end of the number line wins.
*Thanks to Kimberly Geswein for the great fonts and
Graphics from the Pond for the cover clip.
