Form 16847, 4-85 C111 REMOTE INDICATOR OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Key Functions The operator may use either key to select the desired display available from the remote indicator. 1 | ~ Byppressing the “DOWN” key, the operator may step down thru the displays as illustrated on the face of the remote. 4 | — Byppressing the “UP” key, the operator may step up thru the illustrated displays. The CRT will also change to correspond with the remote display. Since there are no prompting instructions displayed on the remote, the CRT may still be used as a guide in learning when to step “UP” or when to step “DOWN”. NOTE: If the Prompting on the CRT is ignored, the instructions at the bottom of the CRT will not change until that step is completed. However, the operator may still use either remote key to change the displays. When one center green light is lit, the adjustment is within the entered tolerance. When both center green lights are lit, the adjustment is within % the entered tolerance. OUT OF TOLERANCE PREFERRED ADJUSTMENT (WITHIN 4 ENTERED TOLERANCE) ACCEPTABLE ADJUSTMENT (WITHIN ENTERED TOLERANCE) The digital adjustment displays are “LIVE” readings and NOT zero adjust. When making alignment corrections using this display, adjust the vehicle until the display EQUALS the specification. NOTE: Each time a caster measurement is taken the remote will go blank. To turn the remote back on simply press [4].
