Ladies and Gentlemen, Good day to everyone.

My respect to our dearest school principal, Mrs. Ma. Cristina C. Pegollo, to our Schools
Division Superintendent, Dr. Manuela S. Tolentino, to our Assistant Schools Division
Superintendent, Mr. Ernesto Lindo, to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma’am Elarin
Parian, to our guest speaker, Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction, Mr. Diosdado
San Antonio, teachers, staff, parents, fellow graduates, friends and our online and virtual
viewers, a pleasant day to all of you. On behalf of batch 2020-2021, you are all welcome on
our 4th Commencement Exercises of Sinalhan Integrated High School with the theme Kalidad
ng Edukasyon Lalong Patatagin sa Gitna ng Pandemya “Strengthening the Quality of
Education Amid COVID-19 Pandemic.

We may not the best students yesterday, we may have a complicated and stressful
experience today, but we all have a great lesson that we might use tomorrow and for our
future. In times when everything is not fine, in times when everything is not great, however,
we are all here to celebrate in one of the beautiful and best moments of our life as a student.

It`s not always easy to survive in school especially if you are graduating student. In our last
year of being a senior high there are questions that we always ask ``will I make it?`` , ``will I
graduate?``, ``will I survive?``, or in a phrase that we always say like ``I`m tired``, ``My brain
stuck in-between``, ``I can`t understand``, ``I think I should stop``. It`s hard to accept the new
normal academic year especially, we are all still in shock and hoping that everything will
come back to normal. Nonetheless haven`t you realize that this is not the last time we can all
go to school and learn, there are always advantages and disadvantages, we have a choice if
we should continue our studies this school year or we should wait until the pandemic is over.
Yet my fellow students choose to fight and survive, our teachers choose to continue teaching,
and our parents choose to support.

In my first and last speech as a student, I am honored to say this to all people who are behind
in this successful graduation ceremony.

Thank you to all teachers who are never get tired and never give up reaching those students
who couldn`t cope up in modules, those teachers that never get tired of reaching us and
asking if there`s something they can help, those teachers who can make everything they can
to lessen our burdens in answering modules. Graduates are all very thankful to have you.

For the last part of this speech, I want to leave this message to you, Nelson Mandela said ``
May your choices reflect your hopes and not your fears``.

Again, Everyone! Welcome to Sinalhan Integrated High School 4th Commencement Exercises.
