In the international market GFC fans faces the big names as competitors from Japan, China,
America, Malaysia and India are the big name in Fans manufacturing. GFC fans is the only
industry in Pakistan who take the tender for export to USA recently. The buyer of the USA shows
the confidence on this industries ability that's why they give them the orders.
GFC fans also exported their fans in the England. The recent export leads was about 4,560.00S
that was the first time when a GFC fans were export their fans to UK. The changing temperature
of the world demands a fans industry to produce more fans and in the international market.
GFC fans is not a very big name as to beat Japan but they are not far away from them as well. GFC
fans growing their setup through better marketing in the international market
Currently they are exporting their products in the following counties and the export leads are also
given to analysis the production power and sales of the industry
In Arab Countries there is a big demand for the GFC fans because of the quality, cheap prices, &

2. Mist Fan was firstly introduced in Pakistan by GFC fans.
3. GFC fans is the only Pakistani firm which exports their fans in USA.
4. GFC fans uses the most modem/high tech machinery like Capstan & Turret Lathes,
Progressing Stamping presses, Die Casting Machines, Injection Moulding Machines,
Automatic Armature Winding Machines, CNC Wire Cut Machines, Spark Erosion
Machines and Ovens Containing Conveyers for drying Stove Paint.
5. GFC Fan has become the first Pakistani Fan manufacturing company, which has secured
approval to market its Electric Fans in USA (American) market. According to Export
Promotion Bureau (EPB), General Fan Company Ltd., of Gujrat has obtained
"Underwriters Laboratories Incorporation" (ULI) certificate USA to market its Pedestal
and Stand Fans over there.
6. G.F.C. installed copper wire manufacturing unit in 1988. G.F.C. is also manufacturing its
own capacitors. G.F.C. were the pioneers in export of fans from Pakistan. G.F.C. have got
four Export Trophy.
7. Awards for Fans and other Electrical Products like enamelled Copper Wire.
8. GFC fans is giving the employment to more than 1000 people in his industry.
9. GFC fan producing the high quality fans in Pakistan.
Weakness:
1. On managerial level there is no proper way to find out the problems.
2. The product problem solving strategy is not useful.
3. No check and balance on the managerial staff.
4. Implication of information system is poor.
5. The concentration is diverted by producing different products in the same industry.

1. If government reduces excise duties on imported raw material, prices of fancy fans and as
well as of Regular fans can be reduced

GFC Fans is not having monopoly on the market they have the threats from different factors.

The company's management is highly experienced and qualified, with seasoned investors. The

The company will require additional investment or loans for Phase II, set to begin during
the fourth year of operation.
Suggestions:
1. Vision statement is too long, it must be one or two sentences
2. G.F.C still emphasizes on production concept. They must be forward thinking
3. Local market of Gujrat area can be captured
4. G.F.C system is based on Microsoft XP, it should be upgraded to latest windows 8 or
8.1
5. G.F.C must invest in outside business
6. Less monitoring or check and balance. There must be check and balance
7. More the export the more the profit will be; because of this G.F.C can enjoy a lot more
profit than existing.
8. G.F.C can easily expand its businesses through external debt because of its already
built credibility.
9. By the reduction in cost of production G.F.C can enjoy the more profit margins.
