Have you ever though of turning on your tv and watch only positive news in Colombia in terms of
Human Rights?

Activity 1. In a creative way, design a news report (video including images and audio – text is
optional) where you show your community a situation in which some human rights are
finally being respected in Colombia.

Example: The President Duque just signed a historic agreement between the Government and the
farmers to provide the ladder with more economic resources to reactivate the
production of coffee and improve their living conditions.
This investment involves ongoing training, access to elementary, secondary and high
education to farmers’ children and a better quality of life for those living and working in
rural areas.

Activity 2. Inequities are easy to be changed – encourage the reader to improve daily actions
related to equity and respect for human rights. Show what to do in your community or
in your virtual environment to favor equity, by describing your daily actions:

Example: in my virtual community I always try to address my teachers and partners politely. This is
how I show everybody deserves respect regardless their age, occupation or sex. I also
offer help when I recognize I am good at a specific subject or topic.
In the street I show disagreement when children are forced to work; in these situations, I
encourage them to find other options to make a living, without having to drop school.
