 3. WRITING AND SPEAKING PRACTICE
Using the reported speech, create a conversation and roleplay it next class.
The context is the following:

Three friends are talking about something that happened recently. They report things
that were said by them or others. For example:

Person A: Well, that was a good party. Wasn’t it?

Person B: Yeah, it was. But I was upset when your friend said that I had gained
weight.
Person C: Did I really tell you that? Wow, I don’t remember.

Observe that the sentence in red uses the reported speech. That 's what I want.

Write the script of your convs and do it in front of your classmates, next class.

Neider: Hey dude, wanna hanging out this Sunday?

Ayrton: Of course, where do you want to go?

Neider: I would like watching some films at the cinema.

Ayrton: mmm donno, i’ve not seen any good movie lately, but what about Silmar?,
do you know something about her?

Neider: Well, she told me that she would be busy this week, can you text her and let
me know?.

Ayrton: No idea but ok, i will.

Ayrton: *Ringing* Hello?

Silmar: here’s silmar, neider?

Ayrton: Really? No, ashole, here’s ayrton.

Silmar: oh my god sorry jajaja

Ayrton: By the way, i was talking with Neider and... he told me that he wants to
spend some time this weekend.

Silmar: You know i got a job but i will do everything in my hands, which day?.

Ayrton: Sunday.
Silmar: I am free, so go ahead.

Ayrton. Oh of course that day i will be a little late because i will be doing something
before our date.

Silmar: Do not worry bro.

That day.

Neider: whistling**

Silmar: Neiiderr hiya!!.

Neider: hey you.

Silmar: what the frick with you, are you shirty?

Neider: of course. Ayrton is late... as always!!!.

Silmar: frick don’t get shirty, i mean. I‘ve forgotten to told you, i was talking with him
and he said that he would be busy before hanging out with us so, maybe he is on his
way.

Ayrton: damn it sorry, i was looking for a present to my mom, tomorrow is her
birthday, soo... are you ready guys?, do you want to eat first? I am starving.

Silmar: I am agree.
