This is me

Let me tell you one thing about me.

My medium of study has never been English. It was my regional language Kannada. As time
went by, I started facing lots of difficulties in understanding English. I was not able to speak
even a single sentence. Writing was almost impossible for me. It was hard to understand the
people who talked in English.And I thought in myself, if I can learn many subjects, why not
English?And then, I started learning without joining any spoken centres. I bought some books
(English to Kannada). I tried to understand. I memorized lots of words and used them when I
spoke or wrote. I learned something about grammar. I started watching English movies and
dramas. I collected words from feasible sources. I spent time over reading newspapers. And
within six months, I felt that my English improved because I was able to speak, write, and
understand others.Then I realized that I should put my effort more to make it more effective. I
started studying advance level of English. I started reading great novels. I changed my writing
styles. I practiced at full stretch. And it still continues.To me, organisation of sentences, ideas,
thoughts, etc is important because it demonstrates your intellectual qualities.Everyone can learn
English within 6 or 8 months if he or she is determined to learn. It demands firm determination,
unyielding perseverance, and the passion of execution.
