Having seen with Our own eyes and heard good report of <awardee>, We are mindful to reward

Our servant as is right, fitting and proper. Therefore, by mere motion of Our hand, We make Our

will manifest and, desiring to further these works of beauty and skill, do hereby make them a

companion of the Order of the Silver Ram.

Our skilled craftsman, <awardee>, has by their own hand and without request of recompense,

created many works which have enriched and bettered Our kingdom and Our people. Therefore,

it is Our will that this artisan be rewarded in a manner consistant with their deeds and thus do

hereby confer unto them all of the rights, duties and responsibilities of a companion of the Silver

Ram.

(from 1176)

A certain (awardee), a faithful subject and artisan of some report, has produced works which

have caught Our eye and Our favour. Such skill is to be encouraged which is why, in

consideration of these deeds, we recognize, decide and decree that said gentle is worthy of

inclusion into Our Order of the Silver Ram.
