Guidelines for Project

1. Group project – 10 members in a group. Group formation done by the participants


on their own convenience. At least one female member should be present in a
group.
2. The choice of project topic is of the participants. The participant group has to design
the project, collect relevant data, create appropriate tables, and analyze the data
using appropriate quantitative techniques learnt in the course. The aim of the
project component in the course is to make the participants understand applications
of the QT taught in the course and exhibit some of the learnings with suitable
applications.
3. Secondary date available in several sources can also be used (but discouraged).
4. The project report shall contain the following:
a. Title
b. Motivation
c. Objective(s)
d. Data Collection (Sources if secondary data used)
e. Analyses
f. Findings and Interpretation
g. Summary
5. Copying of project/project data is highly discouraged. Plagiarism check will be done
and if similarity is found more than 30%, a course “F” grade will be awarded.
6. Project groups and title of the project have to be intimated to the Academic
Associate on or before 28th February 2021.
7. Submission deadline: 23.59 hours on the 10th day after the last end-term
examination of Quarter-1

Quizzes
1. There will be four quizzes of 10 marks each. Two will be conducted during the week-
end 27th/28th and the other two will be conducted during the end term-examination.
Best two quizzes of the four will be counted for grade.
