The meeting will take place in the premises of the Thessalian Association of
Business and Industry (Address: Avenue Karamanli & Industry, Code 414 48,
Larissa, 1st Floor). We choose the specific offices as they offer more capacity and
space distance for our meeting.
The offices are located in the wider city center of Larissa, so you will have easy
access no matter in which hotel you’re staying.
HOTELS
There are several good options for your accommodation and with a variety of
prices. Below, you can find some recommended hotels, but you can also use the
booking platforms if you wish to find another.

PLACES TO VISIT
The collection G.I. Katsigras, a donation of the well known surgeon and collector to
the city of Larissa, is one of the most significant in the country and unique in the
periphery. It comprises 781 paintings, carvings and drafts of important Greek artists
for the period between 1850 and 1950. In 1981 the doctor and collector G.I. Katsigras
donated his remarkable collection to the municipality of Larissa. After his death the
collection was enriched by 1170 books on art, as well as the invaluable furniture
which belonged to the renowned Heinrich Schliemann bought by the collector in
1955. As for his personal medical library it was donated to the Medical Association
of Larissa.
Through a profound appeal to the senses the visitor is able to follow the course of
Modern Greek Art, the evolution of trends and techniques and the influences it
received by many schools and European fashions with a specific historical and
social context.
CURRRENCY
Greece's monetary unit is the Euro. No other currency is accepted and it is best to
exchange dollars or other currency at a bank. The exchange rates are all the same
throughout the country and you exchange money at a bank or official exchange
shop where you will get the best running rates. Currency exchange shops and
banks in very touristy areas charge high commissions, so make sure you know
what the commissions are before you commit to a transaction. Banks are open
from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
