This document provides guidelines for work/rest regimens for different heat stress levels based on the wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT) reading and the type and intensity of work being performed. It establishes maximum work durations and minimum rest periods depending on the WBGT reading and a worker's weight for light, moderate, and heavy activities. It also lists control measures and recommendations that must be followed if the WBGT exceeds 32.2 degrees, such as rescheduling work, providing shade and cooling, and ensuring workers are fit, acclimatized, and hydrated. Emergency contact information is provided.
