This document provides guidelines for writing a diary entry. It states that a diary entry records a person's personal feelings, thoughts, or activities from a particular day. It should include the date on the left side, "Dear Diary" on the next line, brief but clear descriptions expressed logically in paragraphs, and conclude by signing with the first name. An example format is also provided, including lines for the date, time, salutation, content, and signature. Two sample diary entries are given as examples - one expressing pride in fundraising for an old age home, and another expressing sadness after failing in a speech competition for the first time.
